I woke up with a smile this morning, the Windows 8 Developer Preview was released during last night. Once downloaded and configured on Virtual PC, I’m eagerly waiting for the virtual machine to boot. Sadly the developer preview doesn’t work well with Virtual PC (which I should have figured).

Try Hyper-V instead.

Am Guessing that this is either caused by :

The Virtual Pc not meeting all of the requirements of Win8
Win8 was coded without Virtualization in mind
and finaly maybe Microsoft made sure that we couldnt run Win8 on anyting but our hardware after all at the moment they say that we cannot uninstall the Dev Preview which points me to a few other conclusions.

I feel sorry for anyone with an illegal copy of the Windows Os installed.

Well played Microsoft well played.
